How quickly does Sibutramine HCL start to work. Does it take a few days or is it almost instant?

I don't have my nursing drug handbook with me now, i can give you a full post on the actions of the drug later. It's a CNS stimulant so i don't think it would take a few days to work more like a few minutes.

That would be extremely helpful. I've got 10g of it and I need to study up before I get on it in February.Originally Posted by big k.l.g

Yes Big K... make it known that i still have your handbook

INDICATIONS AND DOSAGES:
¤Management of Obesity: 10 mg daily (orally) given once daily without food..maybe increased to 15mg daily

Remember the drug raises BP so be careful if using it on a cycle i plan to use it as well one of these days anyway. Narkissos i want my handbook bitch!!
I apologize for hijacking this thread but for those who have used it or know about would you consider it a great hunger suppresser?
Thanks
BB
It's supposed to be very good at suppressing hunger, especially carb/sugar cravings.
Thanks my man!
BB
bump.... im interested in more info on it as well
It works on day one. I took one today. 15mg's It just totally curbs your appetite. i had this rediculous lunch today, and I barely touched it. You feel full after like 2 bites of food, but I do get the jitters.
It works well... almost a stimulant like suppression of appetite without the sides. I do not get side effects, but I cannot eat much food with 15mg, so I dropped to 10mg ed. Very effective for appetite control. However, it does effect your seratonin and it does take a few days for the full effect, as well as a few days for it to wear off. It also reduces my tolerance to alcohol on a side note.
thanks rampage... couple more questions
1. can you take it with ephedrine or clen?
2. what do you mean it effects your serotonin levels? in a good way or bad?
3. how long can you take it? cycle it b/w clen (2 weeks on 2 off 2 on with clen inbetween?)
4. is it legal without a Rx?
thanks!
1. I would not bro. Too much on your heart.
2. I do not think it does anything to serotonin.. it not that type of drug. Is more of a stimulant than an SSRI.
3. I think you can take it as long as you want the package insert had at least 12 week studies in it.
4.you need a script for it, but some research co's are doing it for research

1. yes, i have used it with clen/ephedrine without any sides. this stuff shouldn't have sides with clen, except helping to suppress the appetite. personally, i would say don't use ephedrine, just up the sibutramine to 15mg ed
2. it doens't negatively effect your setatonin, it just alters your seratonin to give your body the sensation of being full faster. read up on it at rxlist.com
3. take it as long as you want. the studies i read, the clinical studies went on for 6 months.
4. it is prescription, but you won't piss hot on a drug screen or anything like that. i consider this to be a mild drug. however, i do have a script for meridia, not that i ever filled it, but just to cover my azz
