Ill be in hospital on mon for 5 days ,hopefully Ill be cancer free after this.

Well bros , Ill be going into hospital Mon. for 5 days for radiation treatment to make sure Im cancer free(thyroid cancer) which I was diagnosed with last sept). But anyway once I get out and get a the good news from my onocoligist that Im cancer free , Im will start turning my ass into a pin cushion cause I have 8 weeks worth of nor200 and T-200 just calling for my name everyday and its so tempting to do but Im gonna wait.I been on medical leave and this board is one of the things that kept me busy during the day but anyway guys like arnold says ILL Be BAACK!

havent went through chemo, this will be my 3rd time doing radiation treatment and I lost weight and got sick last time but this will be strongest dose which will be 150 millcres.Put it this way they will have the room padded up and doctors come in there with outfits that look like space suits. Im like wtf are they putting in me..lol. So you guys know they whole story I had a lump in my neck about before I was diagnosed and always thought it was a adams apple and would always get tired and occasionally spit small amounts of blood up sometimes, well I went to a urgent care about my throat and they diagnosed me with infected prostates so my wife said go to a throat specialist and he said evertthing was gonna be fine and he didnt think from the cat scan it was cacerous but when they operated on me to take it out they discovered I had thyroid cancer which had spread to two muscles in my neck and also some lymph nodes in my neck which resulted in removel of those and of course the whole thyroid, so now 6 months later I find that there might be activity going on in my neck which is the reason I will be in hospital for 5 days starting mon. but anyway Ill be back and rdy to get back in gym and of course get huge like a mack truck when i get out.

im also a cancer survivor, had 2 large cysts removed from my bladder, along with them taking the dome of my bladder off too. this happened in 1992 and ive been free of that stuff ever since. i didnt have to do any chemo thank god, but i feel for ya all the same. good luck brother, and your in my prayers. hurry back and keep your head up during your hospital stay, it only gets better from here on.................:)

One thing Im curious about however is I thought that if you have previous cancer it was not wise to take anymore ananbolics as the cancer can spread faster if you are on the sauce... Im not flaming Im just curious more than anything !Sorry bro like I said best wishes!

hey bro, when i was 14, in my freshmen year of high school, i was diagnosed with a rare tumor of the sinuses. I had to go to radiation treatment for 1.5 months. My tumor was made of blood vessels, so as it started to die, it would bleed uncontrolablely. I almost died twice in this period. In the hospital after a massive nose bleed, i went down to 132 lbs. When i started radiation i was 189lbs. I got to that 132 in two months, thats how much weigh i lost. I got through it, and got healthy. when i was 15, almost 16 i began lifting. I was only like 155lbs. Now im 19, 5'8", and 210, 9%bf. Just letting you know that you can get through anything bro, cause i made it, so can you. good luck

hey bro your right thats why i have juice just sitting here calling my name everyday but im gonna make sure im cancer free first after my body scan after radiation treatment then im gonna probaly hit my cycle but if for some reason im not free of it ill probaly just give it to my buddy whos doing the same exact cycle i have.But you have a point bro and im gonna take cautions before i do this. take care bro

And thanks for sharing your story, bro. I know that sounds like a freakin' 12-Step phrase, but most of the readers of those board are in the 18-25 age range. Those of us who are over 25 remember, I'm sure that 18-25 was the age when we were invincible! We've seen enough examples on this board to know that no one is invincible, and the message in that is that if you're going to do AS at all, do them in an intelligent and informed manner.
