in about for years im am going to be taking a state trooper test, they test hair samples and urine, i know the steriods leave your body in a certain about of time, but do they stay in your hair??? is there anyway they can detect me positive because it was in my hair ?

ya from what I hear most places test for recreational drugs. as for the hair thing..I dont know. Just shave your head so there is none to take a sample of....lol

dude i think hair test are only for like 6 months or something..dpending on the length of the hair, but im pretty sure it only goes back like 6months. besides you said in four year... so whats the worry

I have a friend that is a cop. They dont routinely test for this. If they did he would have been busted a long time ago. He has been doing cycles for years and has been a cop for less amount which means he joined the force after he had begun AS. If they test for that he would have been nailed.

They busted some juiced up cops here, and also the cops who were trying to cover it up by munging the piss tests. Drugs stay in your hair as long as the hairs stay. I suggest staying clean and cutting your hair really short, just in case.

No matter what we think about it, the public expects cops to not be juiced up. Especially with all the paranoia about gear brought to fore by the baseball scandals and the revised steroid laws, you would be well advised to stay clean for the time being. If you eat, train, and recover properly, you can still be fairly big and look pretty good.

Why would dying your hair make any difference? Nothing is gonna wash the drugs out of the hairs. As long as there are traces in the body, traces will be incorporated into new hair growth. When all drugs have cleared the system, and THEN when all hair being formed in the follicle finally pushes its way out of the skin, shaving will remove it. Since he probably won't want to shave his head, he could just figure on being clean long enough for a crew cut to eliminate evidence from his head, and not worry about the body hair, since tainted body hairs, by this time, would have already dropped out.

Plus they won't take a body hair sample anyway. Normal procedure is to use hair from the head, since it doesn't matter where the hair comes from. Just remember that hair grows 1/2" per month so being clean, i.e. no traces in the body, for 2 months, 3 to be extra redundantly safe, and then getting a buzz cut, should have him safe for a hair test.

Of course there is a good chance that they will not test for gear, but I don't think our cop-to-be wants to take any chances.

Was. Fort Worth, I think but not sure. I imagine there was flack about him appearing to be using some sort of illegal steroids. If I were his boss I think I would be somewhat sceptical about any protestations of innocence LOL! I think folks might have wondered, yeah. It would seem like a no-brainer for some roid-o-phobic public watchdog to cry out for testing in the department. Plus his prize money and endorsements and various spinoffs probably net him more than a cop's salary anyhow.

had a buddy that tried to get a job with the county hair test was not the issue the polygraph test is what your gonna have to worry about they asked him did you ever try in illegal substances he sd no they asked him 3 times and he sd no they started nameing off illegal drugs he sd no even roids he sd no well to sum it all up he failed it didnt get the job...so unless your a dam good liar thats what your problem should be...gg

I was under the impression they didn't do polygraph's at state level positions. Only Federal agencies like FBI, CIA, ect...

The troopers were always the best when it came to being in shape so they mightve been sauced up ... ive never seen an out of shape NY state trooper
