    injection question

    hey guys,

was injecting today into my left quad....i put the needle in and it went in very weird....it almost felt like a crunching and it hurt more than normal, anyways, I aspirated and nothing came out and the needle was tough to pull out, but barely ant blood surfaced....so i just pulled out, grabbed a new needle and tried again...this time went in nice and smooth, in a diff spot.

possible that i went through a vein?

i only get that "crunching feel/sound" when i inject into my quad. gluts and delts are always smooth.

you definitly hit some scar tissue. I had to give a friend shots in the rear delt, and he was so covered with scar tissue that everytime was an exercise in itself just getting the needle in. Also barely any blood when i would pull the needle out.

Always rotate injection spots to prevent this bro. I switch between 4-6 spots depending how oftien im injecting.

I think the scar tissue will probably remain, but as long as you rotate to other areas, I would not worry about it....I've got a bit of scar tissue on my quad as well, but I just avoid injecting there....
