Whatever happened to Primo?

I've been browsing this board for the past 2 weeks now. As my profile shows, I did some lightweight stuff several years ago. Mostly used Primo as the anabolic compound in those cycles.
Now on here, I've read lots of questions about Deca ; many cycles with Deca being described etc...
But effect-wise Primo is very very similar to Deca (I know it's a different family).
How come I don't read anything about Primobolan anymore? Has it just gone out of fashion, is it more difficult to get, or is there another reason for this?

Primobolan (methenolone) is very expensive even buying in powder form. It's weak too. I'd rather use trenbolone if i need to spend $$$.

Isn't Primo often faked as well?

It's around $100 or so for a 10ml vial of 100mg/ml. Its available from both of the 2 UG Labs I use.
