aspirating and bruising
I was reading up on some medical information and it stated that
when doing intermuscular injetions, aspirating to hard could also
cause bruising, do you accually need to see the bubble or could
a slight to moderate tug be enough, some of my shots take quite
a bit of a pull to get the bubble. Anyone with some input on this?
?

If you are in a vein, it takes almost no pressure on the plunger to pull up some blood. I don't think you need to suck your muscle into the pin to know that you are not in a vein.
As for the bubbles, they are already in the pin. The intensification of the vaccuum in the barrel (due to your drawing back on the plunger) results in the expansion of the bubbles.

Great cause when I do shoulder shots I have a bit of a problem pulling
back, but I am able to get some sort of a tug on it. Thanks

Medical docors and nurses, when giving an itramuscular injection, hardly flick back on the plunger literaly they flick it back and if it doesn't move they just squeez the plunger.
