Actually the idea is that it DECREASES SHBG (that's Serum Hormone Binding Globulin) by binding to it. There's a bit of debate about that. It's pretty much just synthetic DHT -the "bad" testosterone.

Like any drug it will affect people differently. I'm on it right now but I had to cut the dose to 1/2 a tab cuz it made me feel kinda sore and tight all over. I'd been on LDex and Nolva and dropped the LDex when I started the Proviron -the stuff cleared my chest zits almost overnight at 25mg/day. It works as anti estrogen.

Oh, by "bad" testosterone I mean it's what causes hair loss and prostate enlargement.

Lowers SHBG making your cycle more effective and PCT easier
Acts as an anti-aromatase keeping your test from converting to estrogen
Increases your libido (a lot)
limits progesterone (either production or just ill effects, not sure)
Hardens muscles at higher doses
Mildly anabolic
