I got 2 very important questions.

1- How can steroids actually cause death???

2- At what age should a man stop using steroids completely?

1- Steroids can accelerate the growth of malignant tumors, raise blood pressure, and damage your liver and kidneys.

2- Many older men are on HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy) with testosterone.

1-It can cause death if people don't know how to use it and don't do any research.
2-I'm taking my supply and some dumbbells and putting it in my casket when I go.

How old though? I mean....can I be say 60 years old and take 250 test per week and be OK?

About question #1. Its just that I read about wrestlers that die from steroid use. And it makes me wonder why? Don't they know how to use this stuff? Don't they get medical check ups???

It's all circumstantial on the condition of your body at that age. I might be OK doing testosterone at age 60 while you might have an underlying heart condition or high blood pressure or a brooding tumor that will kill you. There is not a yes or no answer to your question.

I think heart problems are one of the biggest risks involved. That and the ****ty lipid profiles we all entertain while on. Cardiac arrest I'd say would be the most probable cause of death for steroid users.

well maybe, but maybe not. You know if it's not one thing then it's another, all you can do is take the precautions and be prepared to deal with any negative effects as they present themselves. You can never be totally safe doing anything in this life, but you can be prepared to deal with the worst.

There just hasn't been enough research yet they really need to do some long term studies.

I believe ignorance causes the deaths.... steroid use is generally a casual connection.

Even in deaths were steroids were cited as a contributing factor.. it's been secondary. Steroids, unlike other substances, do not directly cause death.

Reality is, read your obituaries... everyday common people die at a variety of ages... a bunch in their 30's, 40's, 50's, etc... non of us are guaranteed to collect social security. In fact the social security system is counting on at least 45% of us croaking before we are old enough to collect. See when famous people die, it must be the steroids, but there are everyday common people not on steriods die at similar ages and similar causes.
