I have no objection to funny questions. I just scratch my head when someone poses a question like this and then backs it up with hearing it from a guy that knows his stuff and has never let you down. It is this trust in the untrustworthy that I take issue with.
That said, never be shy to ask any question because amongst all the comments and quips, you'll always get an answer from someone. Alot of guys come on here in different moods and some days may be short or quick to mock, but for the most part all the regulars are solid guys and will help you out. A thick skin, open mind and inquisitive mind will yield many great kernels of info in here. Plus you'll pick up a good insult or two to add to your own arsenal.
So don't go adding Fina to your skoal and find a new friend for info as this guy has now officially "let you down". Good luck bro!

What the heck does the no flaming thread reference have to do with anything. You consider this a flaming? No one called this guy any names, etc. We laughed at a funny question and made some comments. Even my post was not really about the question, but his trust in a guy who was obviously untrustworthy. Maybe I am just to reserved before giving people my trust.
If you want the world to be a happy milk and pablum group that does not poke fun at eachother once in awhile, then maybe the girlscouts.com is for you. I like the jokes and ribbing and if you think innocent things like this are unnaceptable, then you have to lighten up my friend. As for me needing to chill out, I believe your mistaken. I am not upset at all, I just don't see why you told him to chill. All he said was thanks and you told him to chill? Either way I'm done with the conversation, but in the future maybe instead of laughing at someone's questions you will try to answer them to the best of your ability. Not everyone here knows these things. I suggest you drop this issue now.

Also, if you saw Stripes, you would understand the statement. It means don't take this too seriously. Also read my responses, I am not laughing at the question, but questioning why anyone places trust in the intrustworty. It is the mod and others who laughed and quite frankly they had every right to. It is a funny question. If you want everyone to behave like mary's and not laugh when they hear a funny question, your in the wrong place or if it ever lives up to how you want it, then I am. By the way, I drop things when I want to, lighten up.
