Is it possible to draw test cyp with a 23 guage needle? I know that is the preferred guage for injects, but it seems like most guys use 18 or so to draw. Will 23 work?

yah i asked same questions like that also,i think it dont matter but the reason they draw with 18 cause its easier and than switch needles to its more sterile instead of using the same needle for inject and drawing

you could draw with a 23g but it will probably take time.
18g will suck it right up.
I'm planning on switching needles anyway. I have 50 23 guage needles, so I'll have plenty, and no sense having some left over. Might as well be as sterile as possible and have the needle go in easier.

25g is my preferred size to shoot. 23 is fine to draw with. 18g will ruin your stopper and compromise sterility.

are the 5cc syringe only good? they dont make 3cc syringe only do they?

I use a 23 g because that was what was shipped with my cyp. You have to work with it but you can withdraw it with a 23. I think I will start using a 20 or lower to withdraw and use a 25 to inject. I just started with gear but have already taken advice off the board (even though my doctor said ...a 1 inch pin was long enough for the ass) I went to a 1.5 pin. I thinnk you guys are correct the ass needs a 1.5 pin. I could not find just 1.5 pins in houston so I had to buy 25 g 1.5 with the syringe. A 25g sure goes in better than a 23 in the ass. i use and only own one 18g pin.i leave it in the vial,and dont take it out.

Use the 23g for everything. Take your time, no need to hurry! I do mine when I take a dump!!

be_strong do u change needles after drawing? i will be drawing from 2vials test/eq so i definately would need to change needles to inject

I use the same pin to draw both test & EQ. I use it about 3-4times then I chunk it. Always use a clean pin to inject.Originally posted by D00fy

23g is o.k. but i always ordered just the 20g pins for drawing. (used 20g to inject with first cycle as well....Yes they hurt) then changed out to the 23g for inject. It does take longer with the 23g but it's alright. Won't hurt nothin"
