You have to make sure there are vitually NO bubbles in the needle before you inject. It can be very bad. So, no matter how long it takes, sit there an keep tapping the needle until all the bubbles come to the top. It might take as long as 5-10 minutes, but it's something you have to do! Once my friend said he was tapping his needle, and he did it for so long, and he was about to stop, when suddenly this HUGE bubble rose up from the bottom of the needle, you NEVER want to inject big bubbles! Just try your best to get rid of them.

there CAN be small little bubbles in the needle, but try to get rid of most of them. it takes a good amount of air in a needle to harm you whe injecting into a muscle.
having some SMALL bubbles won't do anything to ya, when injecting IM.
just use caution

large amounts of air in needle could kill you if it got to the heart.
I heard a while ago from a respect mod/vet on here that it takes most of the needle filled with air injected IM to kill you.
I can't remember who it was.. maybe mike?
