Proviron
Active life ; 8-12 hours
NO DECREASE IN HPTA....NONE
Androgenic steriod / anti-aromitization
no anabolic qualities, used in medicine for increasing sperm productionand eliminate sexual dysfunction in men and in some cases to women to stop menstruation.
Should be noted that the decrease in circulatory estrogen in itself promotes increased HPTA activity
another good quality of prov, is its ability to bind to SHBG at a high rate....think about that for a minute.

Methods Find Exp Clin Pharmacol. 1984 Jun;6(6):331-7.
The effects of mesterolone [Proviron ], a male sex hormone in depressed patients (a double blind controlled study).
Itil TM, Michael ST, Shapiro DM, Itil KZ.
Based on computer EEG (CEEG) profiles, in high doses, antidepressant properties of mesterolone, a synthetic androgen, were predicted. In a double-blind placebo controlled study, the clinical effects of 300-450 mg daily mesterolone were investigated in 52 relatively young (age range 26-53 years, mean 42.7 years) male depressed outpatients. During 6 weeks of mesterolone treatment, there was a significant improvement of depressive symptomatology. However, since an improvement was also established during the placebo treatment, no statistically appreciable difference in the therapeutic effects of mesterolone was established compared to placebo. Mesterolone [Proviron] treatment significantly decreased both plasma testosterone and protein bound testosterone levels. Patients with high testosterone levels prior to treatment seem to have had more benefit from mesterolone treatment than patients with low testosterone levels . The degree of improvement weakly correlated to the decrease of testosterone levels during mesterolone treatment.

Ok, thats fine.
But can you honestly suggest that someone using proviron for pct using 300-450mg DAILY....I dont think so....
Usual dosages are between 25 - 200mg daily for men, women 25 - 50mg.
therfore it would be safe to say that it is dose dependant, dont you think?

when your already shutdown and you add AAS to your pct your only prolonging your recovery. The majority of tests ive seen has been done to ppl not on any AAS cycles and some where still suffered from hpta supression. So if your hpta is already down proviron will only contribute to its further supression.
