Short Cycles
There has been some discussion on the topic before. But all of those cycles of 4-6 wks were for cutting purposes. My question is:
Is it possible to gain mass on a four week cycle?
I wasn't really sure if there would be any effective way to do it. Maybe prop and dbol , but I would think the gains wouldn't be that great. I don't have enough offhand knowledge to come up with any ideas. I'm not really hoping to do that short of a mass cycle. I'm just wondering if it can be done effectivly.
Thanks guys.

Mass cycles are usually 8-10 weeks and in some cases longer. I have yet to see a mass cycle shorter than 8 weeks.

THe only one shorter I have seen was one kizer did for 6 wks. He said he gained 18 lbs. I'd like to see that cycle drawn out.

I say Give it a shot, its def. better for your liver than an 8 weeker!

Why give it a shot. I would think its a waste. And why would you tell someone to take 6 weeks of dbol and say its better for your liver. Sure it better than 8 weeks but 4-5 is the tops IMO. Me is confused...

I wasn't saying to do d-bol and prop for 6 wks. I was just asking if a cycle could be designed to give results. I think he was saying try doing a 6 week cycle, not to do dbol for 6wks.

Thank you tackle, yes you are correct. But that's just my opinion.

No problem, I think miscommunication is the basis for alot of posts.

I've heard that more frequent, short and light cycles are the best way to add quality mass that you can keep after the cycles. I do not know if this is true or not. I'd really like to see some feedback on that point. I tend to not believe it.
The mass cycles I am planning are going to be 10 weeks in length and i'm limiting d-bol to 40 days (6 weeks). I don't feel right planning a short cycle - why am I going to spend 5 weeks coming off a 6-week cycle?
If you're still getting gains after week 6 I say keep it going. 10-12 weeks seems to be the consensus on length of a cycle that is reasonable. I think this is because that's about how long your body will continue to gain? Anybody else want to add to this?

Short cycle gains are harder to keep.

Okay, my cycle was posted in the cycle forum, and I actually did I lower dose than I originally posted. I did 100mg/d prop instead of 150 and 80mg/d fina instead of 120. My total gear use per week was 2500mg. I put on 31lbs in six weeks and post cycle I ended up keeping 18 lean lbs. 3lbs a week of keepable gains sounds pretty fucking good to me, especially being 5'9" and 232 around 10% bf and being able to maintain that weight even after 2 months of being off a cycle.

JMO!!! but...
6 weeks of dbol is fine.. toxicity is exaggerated.
people have taken dbol a lot longer for than that with fairly doses without any rise in liver values.
*JMO fella's

Iron horse is correct. Hell I don't think Retabolil2 ever comes off Dbol and he still has his liver.

JuiceJunkie-
1. were the gains harder to maintain?
2. is this how you will do all your cycles from now on? or did you just need mass as fast as you could get it?
