Yup, I take about 800 mg of Milk Thistle a day plus some Liver Rite (detox), I am doing Winny 50mg a day. I need to go get some ALA...
but Diesel is correct, you need to protect that liver my friend.. Espeically on Dbol .. might want also consider some Anti Ester's too.. if you are prone to gyno.. I see soo many guys get gyno from dbol.

The amount of alpha lipoic acid used in research to improve diabetic neuropathies is 800 mg per day and 150 mg per day for glaucoma. However, much lower amounts, such as 20–50 mg per day, are recommended by some doctors for general antioxidant protection, although there is no clear evidence that such general use has any benefit.

For liver disease and impaired liver function, research suggests the use of 420–600 mg of silymarin per day from an herbal extract of milk thistle standardized to 80% silymarin content.16 According to research and clinical experience, improvement should be noted in about eight to twelve weeks. For people with chronic liver disease, milk thistle extract may be considered a long-term therapy.

For those who prefer, 12–15 grams of milk thistle dried fruits can be ground and eaten or made into a tea. This should not be considered therapeutic for conditions of the liver, however.

Milk Thistle is a good liver protectant, but the more superior approach would be to combine ALA with NAC, Vitamin C, selenium, Glutamine and Phosphatidylcholine(lecithin). The former five elevates liver gluthathione levels(in fact, NAC alone increases gluthathione levels by up to 500%), while phosphatidylcholine have strong protectant effects on liver, used to treat liver disorders from chemical abuse and regenerates damaged liver cells.

    Thumbs up

Just a suggestion I have not seen mentioned yet, take the ALA in VERY spread out doses through the day. It can upset the stomach REALLY bad, to the point of easily tossing your cookies. I would take it with meals as often as possible. ALA is the Queen of Antioxidants in my book, and Green Tea would be the King.

Green Tea has a unique property in that it actually seems to recycle other AntiOxidants in the body, creating a synergistic effect and potentiating the effects of ALL the AntiOxidants, a damn fine thing in my book. Milk Thistle is the bomb for liver functions, combined with the above it has shown to really help out. Try getting shitfaced drunk sometime and then taking ALA, Milk Thisle, and Green Tea, you won't be drunk long. It is also a GOD send for hangovers.

For my up comming cycle I'm taking the following diet supplements:
Green Tea 2 caps 3X ED
    ALA 600mg's Spread out ED
Milk Thistle 2 Caps 3x ED
Vitamin C 1000MG's 2x ED (plus the listed multivitamin)
Shackleys MultiVitamin 4x ED (Probably the BEST vitamins made, bar none)
    Flax Oil at each meal
    DHEA 200mg's ED

after all these very good details from you guys,
i have no choice but to protect my ass,
    excuse me my liver..
if i'm not wrong each tablet of m-thistle
    contains 280mg, i don't know about ALA but i'm
assuming is probably the same amount of mgs,
if i combined these 2 items,
what's the best amount to do?
