Trust

The trust :
Trust, swear, rely, bank -- (have confidence or faith in; "We can trust in God"; "Rely on your friends"; "bank on your good education"; "I swear by my grandmother's recipes")
We all know what the word or verb trust means, and in this senseless and valueless world the word trust is taking more importance. In the cyber bodybuilding community trust is what is left. Unfortunately, too often trust was broken by many unscrupulous people.
A couple years ago, only a few internet boards were on the net, and the people surfing these sites were bonded by trust to each others. Today, there so much bodybuilding boards that it is deceiving, actually one a day pops up and most of these FNG are owned by 17 years old that doesn’t even know how to spell protein.
Back in the old days, people were forming tight knitted cliques, bonded together, able to rely to every member. If someone outside that group wanted a source name or emails address it was a total pain in the ass. That person was banned, told to **** off or ignored. The sources were known to only a few individuals, bonded by the iron spirit.
Now, everyone can get a source, open source boards, sometime I wonder if someone learned something from triedia.com or what? Not enough that board was one of the first openly open to source, but it brought way too much attention to “us”. Well I don’t know, where to start either with the owner that was charged for rape and murder of a little girl, or his cohort all sources, or their super source named Kevin Jackson that scammed for a few hundred k’s. No! No one learned from that board, no one, still we have the open source boards all over the place, for any jerks to see. What type of jerks you might ask?
Let’s start with the 14 years old dumbass freshman in high school that decided he wants to add 50lbs to his midget frame and buys anadrol and pop 10 in a day. The cops, it is like doing a ****ing hold up in a Dunkin’s donuts shop!
Not enough we have to deal with these “jerks” that now everybody give out name of sources. I love getting message like these “Hey bro, been lifting a while now, and I lost my source bro ya know he was the QV dude man, see, now I wanna go back in the game and I want a good bro to buy from” and some people will fall for this and immediately reply with emails and name of sources. This brings attention to you, to your board, to your community, but also makes you a cohort of a crime, think twice folks!
Since two years or so we have a new phenomena, the home cooking of gears, people can you just shut the **** up, don’t tell everyone on the boards you getting your powders from China, Korea or ****ing Kabul, keep it for yourself, the people in the know, knows!
Trust is no more now, it was violated way too many times, if the feds really wanted, they could put an agent that knows his **** on some boards, stay online a few hours and in a matter of weeks they could bring down the whole ****ing scene of sourcing and boards, it doesn’t take a smart man to figure out how it works. But now people are too lazy to be secure, to trust and take care of security matters.
Still, these communities bring people to trust other people they never met.
Two years ago, me and some members from a Canadian board did an order for some GH, we were a few guy and most of the guy spent at least 2000$cdn on the order.
We were two guys in charge of the order, so the money was split. Just my handling, I had to deal with 25 000$US in cash, at the time the exchange rate was 65%, let’s do some math: 25k US + 65% = 41 000$ cash. People I chatted and talked for a while on ONE board, sent money without question to me for this order, I could have run away with 40K but no the order was completed and we all had fun with George Henry. People did trust me, so this is what is all about? Yes a tiny bit.
But trust, goes more than this, it means trusting your pears that they SHUT THE **** UP AND PLAY THE GAME LIKE YOU DO, unfortunately this is not happening.

That is a great post, but unfortunately I feel that the longer posts (like this one) tend to get overlooked cause it takes a longer time to read (a whole 3 minutes!) than the average person would like to. Hopefully though, a lot of bros will read this and take it to heart. Great post again.

There are too many new members everyday joining to have an impact. The open source boards are here to stay until law enforcement intervenes, but great read either way.

yeah - back in 98 or so when I started on these boards it was hard to get anyone to tell you anything - "source? i dont know no friggin source! I eat lots of protien!" - or more likely you had to hook up with a guy who was going on a run for the border and hope he could bring you something back - and whatever he was lucky enough to come up with while down there you thought was good or you waited till he got back and paid double for it
now its all like - crap, I dont really know what to compare it - people think this game is like going to Walmart - all while steroid users are being demonized on TV

Great Post.
Some of the talk here is downright scary. You wanna survive the game as long as some of us have, you keep your mouth shut and your respect up.
Just a thought.....
