while bulking i would do cardio 3-4x a week on an empty stomach at 65% of ur max heart rate for 45 min.
45 minutes 2 long IMO, stick with 20-25 min 3-4 x/week. Either in the morning or after your weights.
1 hour a day in the morning .....it's smart . your not going to burn muscle while on gear. start the dy with a shake then hit the cardio then breakfast.
Depends on the body type and how easy you gain muscle. I know plenty who dont even do cardio during a contest phase let alone a bulk one. But they usually have metabolisms that are fast as hell.

Would there be anything wrong with doing 45 minutes of cardio on an empty stomach 5 times a week ? (While bulking) I'm not expecting to put on mass AND drop body fat. I'd be doing it more to get me hungry since I always have problems eating in the mornings.
if you have problems eating try what I do. I take 2 shakes per day and load them both with porridsge oats and over about 3 weeks i have found my appetite is huge
How do you manage to drink your oats, do you put them in a blender first ?Quote:

1) First cook your oats as you normally would (In the microwave w/ water)
2) Then drop an ice cube or two in to cool it off.
3) Get your protein powder, milk or water, etc ready
4) Add oats to mixture then blend!
I personally use a hand blender. A great investment and way easier to clean then a blender.
Good Luck
