Glute still swollen!

Its been a week now and my left glute is still a little swollen. It went down progressively from last week. But still a little hardness and swelling present. It hurts a little if I put pressure on site. Should it subside soon or is it time to see a doc?

Is the site discoloured? is it warm? if not then don't worry about it, cause every now and then i'm sore for about a week. Its part of the game.

Have you tried icing it down? I'd wait to see the doc unless you think it's an abcess or infection.

I shot left glute, maybe too much angle so not deep enough. Maybe hit fat? Theres no discoloration or redness. You cant tell its swollen until I clench my glutes and right side has a big side dimple and left side has just a small one. Its not infected or so swollen that I need ice though. When I sit , it feels like I have a pad or something in my back pocket. Whats that? Other than that, I feel like a champ!

Hey bergs, I hear you on the heating pad. What does the icing do to actually harm the inj. site? Will it freeze the juice ? Just curious.

I had the same thing happen to me On my first cycle. The needle did not go deep enough and went between muscle and fat. It was painful...I went to see the doctor and he couldn't do sh!t for me. They gave me a dam MRI and found nothing. Then they opened me up at the butt and found nothing. A few days later after putting heating pad. It went away. So just lay the heat for a few days and the swelling should go down. I recommend you don't inject anymore till then in that site.

ice will just keep the knot together, it will not freeze the juice.. the heating pad will help disperse the knot through out... heat it up as hot as you can take it... then just rub the shit out of it, will be painful at first... but keep doing and the knot will be gone 50x faster than just letting sit in there.
