I dont think it does... I mean you have estrogen in your body year round, which would mean you are in a catabolic state all the time.

yeah, but would high levels of it cause it?

such as if you didnt take an aromitase inhibitor or an anti-e, would your gains be not as good?
ofcourse we all know other reasons to take those, such as getting tities and getting major bloat
but im just wondering if the higher levels of estrogen can cause a catabolic state

Some people experience better gains when NOT taking an estrogen blocker... some estrogen in your system is good.
