is it okay to use the same needle to draw from the vial ( just to draw the
solution from the bottle and load the syringe then switch needles) more than
once or do i need to use a new loading needle after every injection session

Much better to use two needles. There are some pictures floating around that shows magnification on a needle after 1 use, 2, etc. I always use a new needle to stick myself. They are not cost prohibitive.
Of course when you go to the dr. they don't care, they just jab the bottle and then your skin.
Another thing to think about it the benefit to using a larger needle to draw with (speed) and a smaller needle to inject (slowing the injection speed is good, and less scar tissue build up).
thanks bro's. but i am talking about the needle that is never going to enter
my skin, the syringe-loading needle.i don't know if it is safe to reuse it
I might reuse it if i am preloading a few(2 for a weekend away or something) but letting it sit very long can cause contamination of your gear and infection... not worth it.
i re-use the same loader needle, switch it up once in ahwile and just maek sure u keep it really clean.
no use a new one
I think I would go with a new (and sterile) pin each and everytime...not worth the risk of infection.
50 18g pins $7.00 no need to use old ****
i use the same loader for about a week or two... not the money fact just lazy and it works fine... as long as u dont leave the needle sittin on the counter or anything.
1 infection and you will stop doing that.
i'm just braking you balls becaues you know you should use a new one each time.
ya i should but...fuk it. lolOriginally Posted by gsxxr
After you open the needle package to the air, it's no longer in a sterile environment. I would use a new one each time. Even if it's a 1 in 100,000 chance of getting an infection I would rather not have one deep in my muscle tissue. Anything that reduces the chances of infection even a little bit is worth doing and in this case the expense of taking the precaution is very small.
thanks bro's. much appreciated
dont reuse the loading needle cause you could contaminate the vial.
The piont that he is missing.Originally Posted by bmg
I use to reuse it, but they are so cheap that I just use a new one every time.
i just order the syringe with 20g pin so that every time i go to draw, theres already a new pin on the syringe. then switch to a 23g to inject.
Someone once told me that 18g will chunk out a stopper, esp on a 15 ml vial. I kinda said whatever and went on doing what I always did. Second to last shot I just happened to notice so discoloration in the gear. Strained it out-I came real close to injecting a hunk of grey stopper into my thigh. I no longer use large pins to draw-20g is plenty good enough for me, may take a little longer, but I decided I have the time.50 18g pins $7.00 no need to use old ****
20g is the way to go.Originally Posted by shortie
