Hey i have heard from numerous people who dont really know anything about gear say that steroids will make you sterile for the rest of your life. I wanna have kids some day so i just wanted to make sure it was just one of those BS things going around about gear. I hit the search button and nothing came up so i had to ask.
Will steroids make you sterile for the rest of your life?

If taken for long enough periods of time (ie all the time) then i would say yes. I belive test greatly reduces or even stops sperm count while on.

Its a question of use vs abuse. If you use smaller amounts and follow proper PCT you should be fine, if you use large doses without time off which might be required to get real big then you could certainly have problems i know BDTR talked about sperm storage for those that continuously use so he would be a good person to ask.

Again side effects are individual someone could be on 3g of test a week and get his girl pregnant, while another individual could run 500mg of test for 10 weeks and have a low sperm count 6 months later its a chance you take.Possible, but not likely with proper cycling and pct

I think it's only a matter while on or during the months following post cycle therapy. That and for guys who run never ending cycles. The only reason to run something like a year long cycle imo is if you're competing. To each his own however.

I have cycled on and off since I am 17. I have 3 kids. If you are going to do 2 grams of test year round you might have a problem. If your going to do one cycle or so a year you should be just fine. I was.

It doesn't matter if you've been on long cycles(1+yrs, which i have!) with proper PCT you will not be sterile!

It's a temporary effect that happens to most people exceeding clinically high doses of testosterone (>300mg per week). Just like testicular shrinkage. Testosterone has been researched as a possible male contraceptive... but after short cycles with proper PCT - it's unlikely you'll become permanently sterile. In fact, I believe some studies have shown a rebound effect in sperm count after discontinueing short-tern testosterone use...
