sore throat

Whenever I take var my throat hurts like I've had 10bags of chips. (It also happens when I take meds from a doctor) Usually when I have chips I have a beer and it cures the sore throat. But now I can't take alcohol any alternatives?

try normal solutions, cough drops etc to calm the soreness....im unsure of its cause...i start var in 4 weeks so ill be better help then if it affects me also...bump for help

but the bad thing is the sore throat turns to a bad cold and I can't workout at all with the cold... it happens all the time whenever I eat any fried food or crackers or chips even chocolate. My family all have this condition I know it happens to some people.
