I use direct labs about twice a year and will not go through a doctor again for lab tests unless there is a problem (I have a high deductible). There are hundreds of labs all over the US that work with direct labs. There is a lab about 3 miles from my home and I am in and out of there in about 10 minutes. The lab results are available online within 3 days and you get a hard copy within 2 weeks. All of normal ranges are provided and any results that are out of the normal range are highlighted. And when you compare their prices compared to what the doctors charge, and the convenience, I highly recommend them.
