Cyp low dosage question - how to maximize

Hey...Newbie here....

I am 35 year old male. 6'4" 245 +/- and I have worked out consistently for 15+ years. I would say I am in pretty good shape. I recently went to the Dr. and had my test levels checked and truly have low levels. I am within the normal range at 270, but that is the low end. All that to say I wasn't trying to get a prescription, but legitamately got script for test cyp.

My Dr. is doing 200mg once a month. I know that is next to nothing really. Of course now that I have a script the thought is crossing my mind to cycle up.

What I want to do is just give myself a boost..... I am married and my wife would know in a second if I really started a hard cycle.

What would be a good boost?

If my Dr. is giving 200mg/month and I got on in on the odd weeks to do 200mg every two weeks is that gonna do anything, or am I wasting my time.

I really don't want to gain 20 lbs, I just figured I could take advantage and cut up a little and maybe help my upper pecs.

Thoughts?

is he giving you the shots? also is it 200mg per bottle or just 200mg for the whole month?

200mg/ml the bottle is 10ml.

He is giving the shots, but I have the bottle, and somehow the way the script is written I can get 10 refills (new bottles) before the script runs out in the next few months. At his injection rate, we wont even finish 1 bottle before the script runs out...

All I would have to do is get a refill and some pins and off I go.

I would try the refills and pins, but wont the doc find out U have been taking too much if he were to take blood work again.....or something

200mg a week would be a low dose cycle. 200mg every 2 weeks is not a good idea b/c it will create unstable blood levels, hormone imbalances, and will increase side effects. Most knowledgable people here would probably recommend shooting 2x a week to stabilize hormones and blood levels. 100mg shot twice a week might be ideal for what you're looking to do.

If you're really concerned, try talking to an HRT specialist. If your Dr is recommending one shot of 200mg per month, I really don't think he has any idea what he's doing.

First... anybody know of a HRT specialist network so I can find one in my area?

Second.... if I do 100mg twice a week... (for a total of 200mg/wk)... sure seems like a pretty hefty cycle. Would be worried that it would be to noticable.

More thoughts on this one?.... Again, looking for a little help, but unlike alot of people, I don't want to get jacked with 25 lbs of muscle... trying to be incognito if you know what I mean.

Also, if I go with 100mg twice weekly would I need to do Nolvadex? (truly haven't read enough yet to know what this does except keep away beotch boobs).

I had a devious agenda when I consulted with an online HRT clinic. I'm a cyclist and wanted to get a little boost of energy and endurance. The online group wrote they script and I did 200mg1xwk. I spent 12+hrs on my bike & hit the gym 3xwk so I didn't get much weight gain, but the girl(s) I F#ck both said they could see a difference in my physique and I was impressed with the difference in the gym and on my bike.

See if your primary care physician can recommend an HRT specialist. If you have insurance, you will probably need a referral from your PCP to see a specialist anyway.

200mg/week of test cyp is really not a hefty cycle. In fact it is considered a low dose cycle. Most guys here start out with 500mg a week. Many people shoot over 1000mg a week.

You will not need nolvadex or any aromatise inhibitors. 200mg/week is too weak a dose to merit any estrogen-related side effects.

As far as gains are concerned, don't be worried about putting on 25lbs of muscle. You'd be lucky to see 5. People will argue that good gains can be made from low-dose cycles, but for the majority, that is not the case.

Are you getting hung up on the bi-weekly injections? I re-read your post and it sounds like you think injecting twice a week is too much. Remember that testosterone is dosage related. You could shoot 10 times a week, but the only number that really matters is the total mgs shot for the week (not how many times you shoot). See what I'm saying?

I understand the bi-weekly injections.... 200mg/week is just that whether you do it in 2 100mg injections, or 4-50mg injections. I understand you are saying that doing it in 2 - 100mg injections will help stabilize hormones, etc... instead of doing 200mg and waiting 7 days and doing it again.

I really had no basis on my "seems like a hefty cycle" statement.... guess it just seemed like it since it is 4 times what my Dr. is doing.... Really I don't know, so it was a gut feel. Thanks for the clarification... makes me see the light that some are doing 1000mg/wk.. wow!

Do you think a low dose cycle of 200mg/wk would be helpful...or just a waste? 5 lbs of muscle, some strength gains (especially bench), and some help cutting up would be beautiful for what I want.

Another question as well.... what supplements would you "stack" (not that this is really stacking) with this low dose cycle?.... My thought is creatine.... my reasoning being it is just a good scape goat incase gains are a little more than expected I have the "wow, that creatine stuff is incredible" excuse :-) lol

In your first post you say you're looking for a little boost. 200mg/week would be a little boost. You could probably even go 250-300 for a little boost. Read the thread above, BASK8KACE is a very knowledgable bro. His low-dose cycle theories are right on point. Then come back with more questions.

Also do research on pheednos pct. Your going to need more than just the cyp.

That thread by Bask8Kace is really informative. in his post he is talking about 10-15 lbs... to me that is alot if not too much. I train hard, and do have a decent diet. I think the 250mg/week range will be good for me.

Of course it causes another interesting problem... if the Dr. is giving me a 200mg injection each month, and I am sneaking behind and trying to do a 125 mg shot twice a week, should I just except that every forth week I will have a 200mg shot. Basically it would look like this:

Week 1
Monday 125 mg injection
Thursday 125 mg injection

Week 2
Monday 125 mg injection
Thursday 125 mg injection

Week 3
Monday 125 mg injection
Thursday 125 mg injection

Week 4
Monday 200 mg injection (Given by Dr.)
Thursday 125 mg injection

Don't guess it will hurt anything, but week 4 might be a little more powerful! :-)

PCT is an acronym for Post Cycle Therapy. When you start supplementing with test, your body shuts off its own test production b/c it senses there is too much test in your bloodstream. After you stop supplementing with test, you will have no external test or internal test. Once most of the external test has left your system, your body will sense low test levels in the bloodstream and start internal test production back up. Essentially, your body is going to crash. We use a drug called clomid to stimulate natural test production and help get natural levels back up to normal as quickly as possible. There is another forum on this site devoted to PCT, and there are many threads that are informative. I suggest you read up on it so you know exactly what is happening inside your body.

The cycle you laid out looks good. Bask8kace was talking about 10-15lb muscle gains in his post, but keep in mind, his training and diet are probably really really close to being perfected for his body type. That's how he is able to maximize low doses of test. I don't think you'll see too much in terms of gains with what you've laid out. But it is a little boost, and that's what you're looking for.

I wouldn't worry about the Dr's injection, that shouldn't interupt the cycle. It is only 75mg more than what you would be shooting anyway, that's insignificant.

OK...done some more research, and will be getting clomid and nolvadex for my PCT... Wanted to see if anyone else thinks I need nolvadex during to prevent gyno if I do a 12 week cycle at 250 to 300mg/wk?
