it was always legal as the bronchial medicine under the name vasapro but it is legal once again for dietary purposes so give it another month or two an it will be available everywhere again.

In Canada, or atleast in BC, it's legal to buy it in 8mg tabs in bottls of 50 tabs. Used as a nasal decongestant.

I think efedrine is illegal, but psuedoefedrine is still out there. Stores are either taking it off shelves or putting it in secured glass behind counters.

NO ephedrine has always been LEGAL just not for dietary purposes only sold as an asthma medication.

Anyone got any additional info? The federal district court in Utah slammed the FDA and it seems they are allowing ephedrine to be sold...if it is 10mg and under. Just curious.

No. if you read up on it. all about the ban. and the overruling. youd realize that the judge declared that the fda failed to scientifically establish that all doses of ephedra were unsafe. But they did prove that high doses were bad. and the ban on high doses are still in effect. You will not beable to get high doses of ephedra like you use too.

but then again you could just take several low doses to equal the high doses.

After reviewing the evidence submitted to the court by the plaintiffs, Judge Tena Campbell ruled that the FDA has to reevaluate their decision to ban ephedrine alkaloid containing supplements, and also are prohibited from taking any enforcement action against the plaintiffs to prevent the sale of their dietary supplement containing 10 mg or less of ephedrine alkaloids per daily dose.

While former hardcore ephedra product users may not get excited about taking a product that just contains 10 mg or less of ephedrine alkaloids per daily dose (most of the ephedra product of days gone by supplied daily dosages several times more than this per day), Judge Campbell's court order is a win for the dietary supplement industry and dietary supplement taking public.

The FDA is now forced by Judge Campbell's court order to review the data and establish regulations consistent with what science proves about ephedrine alkaloid containing supplements like ephedra; putting political pressure aside.
