is it a bad idea to mix unused gear with another? for instinse i mixed 4cc of test 400 that i had left over with an unused bottle of supertest-250. is this a bad idea does it even matter?

In the real world.. it probably wouldn't matter one bit.... I doubt that it would cause either of them to crash out of solution...

I was just wondering why you did it? I couldn't think of reason, so I asked you.

Shouldn't cause a problem. Other than sterility issues, you should be fine. But what are you going to do with it now?

Seems like you could have increased the chances of it becoming contaminated. You'd have to refigure the amounts you're getting now, as I assume the supertest250 is like a sust mixture. You've added 1.6 grams of cyp to however much you had. I'd have rather injected the T400 directly into myself as a frontload of sorts than adding it because you've just made it more complicated. Hope it works for you though.

why would you want to mix them in the first place

both of them are in seperate sterile sealed vials, theres no point in mixing them.

I don't see a reason to do it. I also don't see any reason why you couldn't do it. Cutting the T-400 down with another test might make it a bit less painful, I guess. Of course you still need to shoot EOD because of the supertest which is, unless I am mistaken, just a knockoff of sustanon.
