need help opening amps

how do i open the sust250 apms. i have amp opener, but the first one spelt allover and the second one glass fellinside of the amp. Please help!!! first timer

Score all around the top with a knife, then just snap it off with your fingers.

I have always used a cap from a bic pen.
score the amp with a nail file and WAM. off it comes

that sux bro 2 amps gone... try using a pen cap by putting the cap over the top and bending it back fast... or what i do is i put a shirt over the amp and bite it off but hold the glass i bite off and take the amp away...i think i mighta gotten some glass in one time but i was stupid enough to inject neways bcuz i wasnt sure... but it wud be hard to have glass fit through that tiny needle and even if it did it wud proly get clogged.. hope this helps

get a sharpie ink pen and put the amp in the cap the will be right at the top of the cap .grab the cap and the top of the amp with a paper towel and snap off real quick just did one this morning no problem

def.. good input i usually have no problem getting breaking amps open but sometimes i break the top in my fingers and we all know that sucks...using a sharpie cap good idea.

yeah no sh!t. i never thought of that. i just break mine off naturally, no scoring, no opener, hurts the fingertips like a mutha......but i never lost an amp tho.

I never score. I think sometimes it does more harm than good. I just snap it off with a pen cap. I have NEVER had one shatter! Make sure you shake all the juice out of the head of the amp, first, though. Almost forgot about that.

just use your teeth and snap it off. i swear it works. just kidding, but i've always just used a triangle file and scored it then break the top off.
