    Is it sodium or salt?

I know i need to avoid salt to avoid water retention...

However isnt salt ----> sodium chloride

So do I need to avoid sodium as well?? On nutritional labels it seems there is always sodim and how many mg's... is that what I need to worry about? Or should I just chechk the ingredients for salt?

By the way... doing 500mg Sust/week

I REALLY want to avoid water at all costs

If you want to avoid as mush bloat as possible take something to combat it like Arimedex and Nolvadex to combat it.

I would'nt worry about your Sodium intake unless your planning on competting in the near future. A decrease in Sodium will though help. Drinking LOTS of water will help keep bloat down and will dilute the body's sodium levels.

just try to keep your sodium intake between 2000-4000mg of water a day. the more water you drink the more sodium you need in that range so you don;t become hyponaltremic which can be life threatening.

lol, there are many types of "salts." sodium chloride is table salt. and btw a salt is any ionically bonded metallic-nonmetallic compound.

unless your competing i wouldn't worry about sodium being the cause of water retention. keeping sodium low is good foryour body anyway, but i wouldn't try to deliberately drop my sodium intake unless it was a contest
