    heart palpitations ????

    Hi

Recently, Ive been getting a lot of heart palpitations. Well, at least thats all I can think they can be?!!

Feels like I feel a slight heart beat near the throat area, hard to explain but when it comes, be it just gentle, it feels like kinda when you get a short but sudden burst of adrenalin. Only it feels a little milder than that.

Im using test prop and var at the mo. On my first cycle, I also experienced these but I cant remember whether that was during the cycle or during PCT.

Has anyone ever experienced this ? If so, what symptoms did you have? Is it normal or do I need to do something about this??

The last time I had them, they came and went, but this time it seems to be lasting longer.

    Any info appreciated - thanks

anymore than that guys ?? gonna be at my docs on friday so will check wi him then but could do wi some more info/advice please. Other than those I feel great and have no problems elsewhere. I wondering whether its a thyroid problem because that runs in my family and my temp tests show I have a slightly under active thyroid. Just a thought.

    thanks guys

in your case, i would just say that it is more than likely an arrhythmia due to a change in heart muscle..i think it's this because you said you only experience on cycle, and you said that you have no problems elsewhere. Perhaps being on the juice
(or a certain AS) causes major changes in the structure or function of your heart.Major heart problems such as coronary artery disease and heart valve disease usually come with angina, SOB, and feeling tired frequently. I have an arrhythmia, but have had it all my life. Some people just have them, and that is how their heart works. dont think it could be associated w a thyroid problem, but im not to sure

Does the steroids cause my heart muscle to grow too ??? I didnt think it would effect it but I could be wrong. If so, it would explain things. I will mention it to my doc next time like I said still but I have so many problems to talk to him about its unreal! I feel like a right hyperchondriac! I have a bad shoulder (AC joint), bad bicep or elbow or somewhere in there, and I pulled a muscle in my neck over 1.5months ago and its still there!! I only get 10mins per appointment!!!! he is gonna hate me soon.

    thanks

A lot of old juicers stick by the rule of no cardio while "on" for fear of enlarging their heart. I don't know if there is any truth behind it or if it is just a myth.

I get them alot and take a betablocker at low dose. Its Lopressor 50mg a day. It makes a huge difference. Do not take in caffeine or effedera ect. It can make them alot worse. You will either have to wear a Holter monitor or get an echocardiogram to find out if its a murmur or a mitral valve prolapse which is what i have. I went several times to doc but it never would skip a beat while i was there. so if it keeps on at regular palps but not at the docs ask him to where a holter moniter for 24hrs. Then hell know your not crazy. They should not be dangerous but can effect the hell out of your mind. You might need a mild betablocker and its possible it will stop after cycle. I would be more concerned with a very fast heart beat even when your resting. Although right now its probably faster do to worry.

your heart is a muscle just like the ones we want to enlarge...but by simply being atheletes and very active our hearts will enlarge without AS..this is how people get low resting HR's.. their heart is well trained and is very effecient so it essentially pumps more blood per contraction than someone who doesnt exercise...but the extent of the effect of an enlarged heart affects people differently..especially when you get into using AS

My pharmacist gear buddy, who's way more experienced than I am, tells me they're common on gear and harmless and it's not a concern unless you have them normally while off. I had my heart checked by a specialist after my first cycle and I was okay, but if you're going to use gear I'd sure suggest you do the same if you can.

Hey Daz, the main thing is to check your BP and HR before your workout, then do it again after a workout every 5 minns until your BP and HR get back to normal and document that time, start to keep a journal of these readings, and compare them the same way when you are done with your cycle as well.
Every ones first cycle people get anxiety, they know that they are doing something they should not be, any twitch that their body makes their brain kicks in and says it is the steroids , i was the same way, lol, remember steroids are legally prescribed in the USA, it is the abuse of steroids that will hurt you, just like the abuse of anything, baked foods, caffeine, alcohol, tobacco, fast cars, you see were i am going bro...? Knowledge is power.! BTW have you DR do a TSH- T3-T4 blood work on you and check your thyroid, when your Thyroid is out of whack it can play havoc with allot of everyday body functions. PM me and let me know how things work out.

PS: I bet your healthy as an Ox but have an underactive thyroid by looking at some of them BP'S in the low 60's.
