To all who inject into the tricep, I did my first one the other day,
things went great till two days later I found my tricep sitting down
past my elbow so I thought. sore swollen and red as a beet.
Should of researched on that one a bit more.

whats happened, not quite sure i understand
I'm having the same problem bro. Had a DR look it over, says its fine, the muscle is just inflammed
I don't know, first two days good to go third day sweld up like a mother f..cker
red and sore to the touch. swelling went down to my elbow and into my forarm.
THis is why i never shoot upper body... It hurts workouts and the fight against infection probably hurts gains also.
man for some reason im getting some intense dashavu with this thread, no joking
i feel like i read this exact thread last week, hmm wow!
sometimes that happens to me in my right delt. It's the only place that gets swollen and red anymore for me. stays swollen for maybe 3-5 days then goes away. Of course if it persists and you have a fever then you could possibly have an infection.
Sounds like infection to me.
Was it a new pin?
Was the tip of pin damaged (blunted)?
I always use new pins and am very thorough about cleaning the area
before injecting. Anyway, it's doing a lot better. swelling went down
thank God. Never again with the tris. I guess I'll start taking yoga and
work on hitting the butt.
better luck next timeOriginally Posted by STEVO 47

if it's not an infection you need to keep the needle more still.. having a muscle become inflamed isn't normall, pain mabey, inflamed no.
