i have some liquid clen that is about a year old. has it expired or will it still be good? how long does it normally stay good?

I have read various post by Lion saying ar-r clen's shelf life is anywhere between 1-2 years.(Kept in a cool dry dark place..) I would say shake it up and try it out, if it's still good, you'll know for sure shortly there after...
