Winstrol + DHT
Does anybody out there know if winstrol converts to DHT like other AAS?
I remember reading somewhere that it was a dirivative of DHT, and therefore acted like DHT without actually converting to DHT within the body.
Can anyone help clarify this for me?
Thanks in advance.

So, taking something that inhibits the convertion via 5 alpha reductase enzyme like Finasteride, would not combat the DHT related side effects of this drug.(winstrol ), since there is no convertion. Is this correct?

But is there any way to effectively combat the Dht related side effects of Winstol to anyones knowledge?

Yeah, what mich said by taking finastride, proscar. I think Winny V is a great drug. Hurts a bit while injecting but it works great. Gives you good hard pumps and the veins come out. I've never did var so I don't know. I assume it's as good or better?
I believe STEN actually has DHT in it. No need for conversion to attack your hair follicles and prostate. I never liked that dirty test. It's like the Arco (cheap) gas of test.

I need a very clear answer from someone who knows for sure.
Will finasteride help prevent hairloss while taking Winstrol ??
If not,
What else may help?
I've looked up Azelaic Acid, and it seems to be only supplied in a cream form for acne.
There's got to be a solution.

No it will not. Azelaic acid may help, minoxidil may help, and spiro may help. But honestly, if youre prone to MPB winny is a BAD idea.

Yeah, Winny is harsh on the follicles... I had a hair transplant (excellent work by Hasson & Wong in Vancouver, CA) a year and half ago. Cost me 10K...I wish I would stayed on Proscar (finastride) years back but at least I know this hair won't go away. My hairline is now awesome....Probably like my hairline when I was 23-25? I'm 36 now. Juice sped up my hairloss, I know.

Finasteride inhibits 5-alpha-reductase, the enzyme responsible for converting test into DHT. Winstrol is DHT-derived and ergo, already 5-alpha-reduced. Finasteride won't combat any sides caused by winny.
Also, Sten does not have DHT in it; it's got DHEA.

Oh, thought it had DHT straight up in it? It's been awhile since I've looked at that stuff. Do people still use STEN in their bulking cycle?

Looks like Winny is a pretty big gamble if you're concerned about balding and other DHT sides. too bad.
