Wrong Size Pins...

I got my pins today

I'm in England, and our National Health Service has set up a scheme where you can get free needles

I went to the "Drug Exchange Office" and told them what pins i needed, and they gave them to me there and then

I was asked my age, and what i was after, and that was it!
!!SIMPLE!!

The lady gave me 100 needles, 100 syringes, 4 "sharps boxes" to put my used needles in, and 2 boxes of alcohol swabs

Now that's a service!

The only down side was, when i got home i found that i had been given 21 gauge 1.5 inch pins instead of the 23 gauge i had asked for

Who's used 21 gauge before?

Can you tell the difference when you inject?
Are they uncomfortable or not?

Am i ok to use these pins or should i go back and exchange them?

21 Gauge needles are pretty big Bro, you won't have fun using those. I would go back and get 23 gauge ones if I were you.

They were really helpful

I guess it's their job to look after our health

I made a mistake in my previous post!

Its the "Needle Exchange" not "Drug Exchange"

I think they stick to giving out needles and syringes not drugs!

If you're in the UK and want to find the nearest place to you, just go to the main reception at your local hospital and ask them where the nearest "needle exchange office" is

It's that simple!

Think i will swap my 21's for some 23's, unless anyone has had good experiences with them?

Dude, go for it! i shot up 20 gauge at 1 1/2 ive been able to do it in the glute and the thighs, the good thing is u can get that liquid in fast!!! i love it, i was in the middle of a cycle ( well still am) and couldnt find the correct sized needles and had to go for 20 gauge i recommend them they get the job done

i use 21's all the time when i cycle!! thats the only thing i've used u'll get used to them after a few shots never bothered me i put them in my delt, thight, glute never bothered me besides the 18g i used before ouch

I've gone 22 gauge 1 1/2 inches before, dont know bout 21, it sounds like its close, but believe me, there is a vast difference when you start getting into the lower 20's

Go back and get some 25g pins. Tell them you dont need the syringes as you have some unused sterile ones or whatever.

No need for all that scar tissue. Sure you CAN do it...but why the hell would you.

I started my first cycle using 1 1/2 inch 21's before I had a clue. The first time I took them out of the package and put everything together I nearly sh*t myself. I couldn't put that thing in me, had my housemate help me for my first jab. You get used to them though, i was putting them in my delts and glutes but now I save the 21's for my glutes and use 23's for my pecs/delts. Hang on to them,and at least save them for your glute rotation. Like someone else mentioned above, the juice flows much easier through a 21 guage. Love jabbin myself now though, I look forward to "on" days.

Went back to the Needle Exchange today

They said i can keep all the 21g needles they gave me
(i'll use them for drawing)

I asked them for the smallest gauge 1.5" needles they had

Apparently they only have 21g in 1.5"

They stock 25g in 1" and 0.5"
so i didn't bother with those

I did however get some 23g
BUT they're 1.25" not 1.5"

I know they'll be ok for my quads cuz i won't put the needle in all the way

But will 1.25" be ok for my glutes?

As long as you're pretty lean that would be fine for glutes

23's are 0.6 x 30mm
21's are 0.8 x 40mm

The 23's are 3/4 scale of the 21's

You can tell there's a difference in gauge

But you can really see the difference in length

I shot my delts, glutes, ect with 21 gauge. No pain. Just go nice and slow.
