Hey was wondering if it really mattered in buying nizoral 2%. cant i just shampoo twice with 1% and ge tthe same effect?

Yea just use the 1%. It's good stuff. Not much of a difference between the two. I use it everyday on a cycle. Works fine for me.

Also...Make sure you leave leave the shampoo in your hair for about 5 minutes...that is very impt. Putting twice as much of the 1% is not equivalent to the 2% ketoconazole but yes 1% works well.

ok cool picked some up at walgreens, how many times a day should i use this.. my head has been relatively itchy the past 2 wks

3-4 times a week.. Dude, just pick up the 2% - call your doc and have him call in a prescription for you at Walgreens. You'll get more bang for your buck. Just tell your doc you have really bad dandruff
