    confused about something

    Pretty confused...

    I just read about Nizoral shampoo...it's for dandruff, how the hell does that help to prevent hair loss from AS??

    Is that it?

    Nizoral shampoo supposedly has some sort of effect on removing DHT build up in the scalp. DHT is thought to produce in some people an immune inflammatory reaction to hair follicles that harms and miniaturizes them (and thus can lead to baldness).

    There are stronger treatments out there... but the stuff is *relatively* cheap so why not give it a try--I don't think it can hurt.
