It seems that there are still news stories touting Lyle Alzado's brain cancer to anabolic steroids, that are being published even today!

This is extremely suprising even to me as i've read numerous times that his tumors were NOT conclusively linked in any way to the anabolic steroids he took when he was playing Football- including the fact that i heard doctors even mentioned this.

Yet, there is a new news stories that mentions him and how steroids killed him. Unbelievable!

yea..ridiculous.. Steroids dont Cause any of the things that make a body builder/pro athelete that uses AAS die young!

It's either a pre-existing condition that AAS may have sped up, i.e. cancer, tumor. etc. Or way way overuse of AAS (being constantly "on") could mess your liver up. using 30,000 a year on AAS is...a bit overkill anyways. IMO

I'm so sick of this government anti roid push alway bringing up Alzado. First of all, he died from a brain tumor. May have been accelerated by GH, not roids. I also seem to remember Alzado was taking the dangerous early form of GH which was extracted from the pitiutary of cadaevers, dead people. Didn't he also develop Crutzfield Jacobs disease as well? That guy was a nut case on top of that. A Oakland Raiders hard core party boy as well. Not too easy on his body. He also looked like shit when you see pics of him working out in the gym. Very puffy and not too lean. Booze, bad diet and a fast lifestyle. Great DE for sure, one of the best. Crazy mutha fugga.... I loved him for that.
