Before I Shoot I Do This... Is It Safe?

Before i shoot i take the cap off the pain and run the syringe and the needle UNCOVERED under hot tap water for 1-2 minutes. I find the needle goes in smoother and i dont feel a thing. I just started to second guess myself... if it was smart to run the naked pin under TAP water and stick myself with it...

Can anyone say anything about this?

i figured... i realized this after its ok i only did 2 shots like this...

And i just heated up the OUTSIDE of the syringe ... i know there is nothing wrong with that....


Next time i'll just leave the cap on the needle when i heat it up under water... then take the cap off the needle and it will still be dry and clean.

Just let a little oil run down the pin and it should go in smooth. I wouldn't expose it to tap water.

Hmmm ok i guess its not worth it... but i figured if everything was covered it would be ok to heat up the test a bit...

put your vials in some hot/warm tap water to heat em up.

Blow dryer. Warm up the rig, or warm up the vial, either one, but don't remove the cap until you are prepped and ready to shoot.

is it ok to keep warming up the oil and letting them cool down to room temp again? I know its not heating up the gear too much, but some.

You're not heating it up excessively anyways, just enough to increase the viscocity. It's fine to do.

to warm up my gear........i hold the filled syringe in my hands and rub them together for a few minutes. i learned this method when i went to get a penicillan shot while in the service. note: leave $5 hoes alone lol
