Depends on how you train. I find that to keep my density after cycles, I do more power exercises. So, once per gym cycle (4 days on, one off for me), I'll do a power set for each large muscle group. This means I'm loading on weight to hit 3 to 5 reps MAX. That way my winny density stays indefinitely.
To answer your question, everyone is so different man you can't really say for someone else. If you're looking for a compound to give you a lean, dense look, winstrol is probably a good bet no matter who you are. However I'd say training is your best strategy to maintaining muscle hardness, not AA's.
