It should always be higher
No point in tapering at all, it wastes time and keeps blood levels uneven.

Your test ester dose should exceed your deca dose so that your you won't have a lose in libido. Deca will shut some users down pretty hard and to help maintain your sex drive you should always run your test at a higher dose. Don't waste your time in tapering your doses. To have a more effective cycle blood levels should remain constant.
