Counting weeks or shots?

OK I'm at the end of week 3 / beginning of week 4 of a test e 500 mg / week cycle - going 12 weeks. Just did my 7th shot last night. My ars is getting used to being a pin cushion - rotating my left right glutes during the week. I gained 4 lbs last week, but haven't noticed any stength gains yet. Pumps feel stronger, and I figure the weight gain was mostly because I was cutting pretty hard before I started to reduce bf. SO my question - After how many SHOTS do you start to see results from test e? Like 8 - 9 or so? I guess I'm just getting anxious waiting for the kick in. Any experience? Thanks!

5-6 weeks...... should amount to 10-12 shots
