could clomid cause gyno??

i've just started clomid therapy and ever since have had definite gyno symptoms!!!, Im even taking .5mg arimidex ED for extra precaution. I do not understand what is going on!!! Is it the clomid attaching to the receptors causing these symptoms??

it does not make sense to me either!!! 400mg EQ/week and 40mg/day anavar 10 weeks. I was using arimidex thoroughout entire cycle as well?? makes NO sense but its happening????

Well I never heard of Gyno with Clomid, but I do know that I always take Nolv until I am completely done with my clomid just in case. Also did you give the gear time to get out of your system? EQ takes about 2-3 weeks???

Clomid actually helps prevent gyno.

Seeker's right. Clomid is chemically very similar to Nolvadex and it does work as an anti-estrogen, though it's a weaker anti-estrogen, so Clomid is NOT the problem.

(Conversely, Nolvadex will also work to restore natural testoterone production, though it is less effective.

Nice to know that you can swap one for the other though if you are in a pinch!

sorry not to have responded to everyones questions but its been a hecktick few days.

first id like to say thanks to DIZZY...you know why

now to the questions at hand...
i didnt use EQ alone
i was running arimidex throughtout entire cycle .5mg EOD
Im using a european clomid...comes in a 12 tab blister pack 50mg/tab
i started clomid exactly 14 days after last EQ inj.

now for what ive found out...
over at triedia a member told me that clomid is made up of two isomers one anti-estrogenic and one estrogenic...that most of the time the anit-estrogenic isomer is predominant...but in my case not!!!SUCKS huh

so he suggested me to stop clomid and start up nolvadex until symptoms go away...arimidex would do nothing to halt the gyno!!!

so ive been of the clomid for 3 days now...and starting nolvadex....now the question is should i get back on clomid once the symptoms go away completely????? not sure ????what does everyone think

I think Nolva and Clomid are almost entirely interchangable when it comes to post cycle recovery- there's a lot of debate on this but this is generally the consensus. So i think you're fine with the nolva. I'm just a newbie who has read a lot though so some of the other guys would know better.

Get a load of this, I am taking a Winny only cycle (50mg/d with great gains), and I threw in some Nolvadex to keep the water down, but 3 weeks in to the cycle I was getting sore nipples. So I upped the Nolvadex to 20mg per day and they got worse!! I remembered reading somewhere that Nolvadex can actually give you gyno, so I stopped taking it, and about 2 days later they went back to normal. This might be a rare case to don't get too excited.
