Damn Scammers (Want to get my money Back)

I was selectivly scammed by a company that i have gotten orders from before. I used my visa crdit card to pay for it. I was wondering if you guys knew what i should tell visa so that i can have my money credited back into my account, without them knowing it was roids. thx

Just file a dispute. As soon as you do that, you should get a conditional credit on your credit card. You obviously need to think of a legitimate product that you "didn't receive" or something like that, incase they ask. But anyway, the burden is then placed on the merchant to prove that they delivered the goods to you or whatever. Since they are doing something illegal, I doubt they will even respond to the dispute notice, in which case the dispute will be closed in something like 60 or 90 days and that conditional credit becomes permanent.

Me personally, I would just chalk it up as a loss and use it as a learning experience.

I wouldn't want to bring any kind of un-wanted attention my way whatsoever.

Not saying that would happen, but I'd rest easier knowing there wasn't ANY possible way in which that would happen.

ya i never really thought of a credit card as a paper trail but i guess it is. I would always use my capital one if i could so if it didnt come they have no hassle so i would just say i orederd protein or someihtng and they would refund me.. i mean as far as a paper trail you could just say you didnt understand that it was illegal.

Credit card = BIG paper trail. That being said, you could dispute the bill with your cc company and tell them you ordered nutritional suppliemts. The trail is already there.......

I would go ahead and dispute it saying not received, they will have a chance to dispute this, but in all likelyhood they are not going to say that you ordered illegal gear from them, that would be worse for them than you. Make your cc kick their ass, and then never again use a cc for this type of stuff.

Gotta say I'm with SC on this one, $200 isn't worth any undue attention-for me. For others I realize this may be a large sum, go with your gut, you know how much it means to you.

ive called capital one before for not getting stuff ive paid for and if its a low amount they didnt even ask really anything i told them i never got it and the lady just said ok well take it off ur bill and if it comes then just call us and we can put it back on ur bill.

I'd dispute it for sure. He isn't even going to respond to the dispute notice. Open, wait, and shut case.

Now, if you used the credit card to pay through paypal or something like that, then that makes the situation a good bit more complicated.

i know a buddy that bought somehitng on ebay and never recieved it he dispueted it called paypal and they sent him money but not the full amount and the he called his credit card company and never told them he talked to paypal and they refunded him too so he ended up making money haha

Yea im positive. I made my order 8/8 and it never came i emailed them on 8/25 regarding the order and they said they would reship it. Still nothing. it was reshipped on 9/5. i will wait until sat and then its on.

I would email the source and tell him you are going to file a dispute with the cc compnay - see if that lights a fire under his ass. Might be your best leverage without raising any flags to visa

People never cease to amaze me lol
Let's forget about the fact that you're leaving a huge paper trail for a min and focus in on that you're giving less then questionable people you're credit card!
Wait till one of these times you get you're bill in and your cards maxed out only to find out that these people have charged hotels, plane tickets etc and have had a good time on your expense.
And lets not forget the major bust that just happend where 4,600 websites and the ppl were busted...

You'd have to retarded to order from websites...
