I have never tried nor found the need to try a max rep...you don't gain anything from that except a potential injury...

I have to admit that it is easier for me to lift these weights given my short legs and arm length....being short has its advantages.![]()

Its like you just leave it up to imagination.... id rather hear what someone can do one time than 5 times, cause i can do a lot of somethan one time no one else can, then they can drop the weight 50lbs and do it for more reps. Not bein a dick, but you get my point.

j/k
If you are in a comp that requres you to lift only one rep then you are right. But personally, I think it is more of an accomplishment to rep something more than once than just one time. One time means nothing IMHO. I really don't know how to respond to your comment....I guess different strokes for different folks...Originally Posted by MrBigEd

No your right, the rest of the of world is using the metric system an were not..I have to buy twice as many tools because of that shit. The snap on guy loves to come by my house. I would love it if we used the metric system. I know in the medical field thats what they use mostly.Originally Posted by RoidGut

lol how come some of you guys bench as much as you squat
and threads like this are pointless
pointles thread but Ill join in.
naturally:
bench:375
deadlift:485
squat:450
after a cycle:
bench:410
deadlift:575
squat:550
I try to aim 4 a parallel squat but could be a lil less..
kinda disappointed for the gain in bench considering my first cycle was like test 750gm / deca 450mg a week for 15 weeks.. still got a few weeks to go but havent gained anything after week 9

Squat below 90 degrees: 528 with powerlifting equipment. I think I`m good for 550 on a good day, though.
Deadlift: About 550 X 1 with a deadlift suit. About 530 without one

im willin to be theres alot of lying goin on here..hahaha
not me.......no need to lie
yeah i agree, im not going to call out anybody, cuz im just not that confrontational, but, these lifts are some serious weight, and im not even close to some of these guys. Unless we got a couple of extreme powerlifters here. but not sayin it to make me feel better, i just know how easy it is to lie on the net.Originally Posted by Decadbal

I dont really see these as being serious weights, ill be honest i can not squat 400, knees won't hold up for that, but when i was in high school, there were a few kids that could rep out 350 for reps on bench, and 225 on military. I can only bench 330 twice, but like other guy said, in 6'4" with a 6'6" wingspan, long arms an bench just dont mix.
maybe sum1 can lie in a place like this but whats the point? IMO it would be kinda gay to lie here..
