Will baking test hurt the potency of the gear

Hey bros I need some opinions on baking gear. I had to bake some test e and it changed the color of the test. Does this mean the gear is useless now? Do you guys think the gear will still work like it was supposed to. If anyone has experience in baking test, your advice would be greatly appreciated

1. why did you bake it?
2. what temp and for how long??

I wasnt sure if the vial may have been contaminated or if I just had a bad reaction to the gear. I baked it at 250degrees for 30 minutes 2 different times.
