yes, you need at least a gallon... you should be able to do this fairly easily. I use a 1 quart water bottle and carry it with me all day i usually can get about 6-8 quarts down during the day. your stomach will begin to grow if you are eating enough. Water is very important!

You should get it in yes. You might not be able to take it all in right away but build up to it and slowly increase your water intake by the day. It's quite important for flushing toxins from the body and helping with digestion as well as many other benefits.

Put some flavor in it. I hate water. Get some walmart brand crystal light. Its got nothing in it but flavor, no calories, no transfat no nothing.

Wether you are gear or not you need high water intake. High protein diets requires adequate water intake. Muscle is mostly water too.

There's a lot of mythology about water - most of it untrue. While a gallon a day won't hurt you, it's not clear that most people need this much. As long as you don't feel thirsty and your urine is just barely yellow, you're adequately hydrated. As far as your body is concerned H2O is H2O in whatever kind of liquid you drink. Even with diuretic drinks like coffee or alcohol, your body still retains up to 2/3 of the water - more if you're a regular caffeine drinker.

Son how can the gallon not count thats nonsense. If I have a full gallon of water and just add flavoring to make it easier to drink its still a gallon of water.
-
