Interrupting the Clen cycle severely short-circuits its benefits.
And, running Clen and Ephedra concurrently or intermittently negates/wastes the Clen, as absorption drops to 32% due to receptor competition...
Both compounds are absorbed by the beta receptors (Ephedra indiscriminately; Clen beta-2 specific), however they all (even the beta-2) prefer Ephedra and will absorb it over Clen, hence the 32% absorption rate.

So to answer the question...Yes, it would it be safe to take clen and Ephedra in the same cycle. And, yes they should be used separately for "optimal results", not simultaneously and not intermittently within one cycle because 'true' Clen benefit is cumulative and would be limited by 1) general interruption 2) beta-2 receptor preference, and 3) by Ephedra half-life overlap.

EFFECTIVE ADMINISTRATION:
Clen should be run 6-12 wks consistently for maximum benefit, with 50-100mgs of Benadryl (nightly) every third week for 7 days to upgrade/refresh the beta-2 receptor. Obviously, no Ephedra should be administered during this period.

For optimal Clen benefit, Ephedra should only be run after or before the Clen cycle.
