Shots in my calves

I did my first calves shot today 1CC Sust in one and 1.5 CC Deca in the other and now my calves are totally cramped up. Is this normal for this location or is it just virgin muscle?

I have been using this in my quads, and delts with no problems for a few weeks.

Probably nothing to worry about but thought I would check.

If you think you will make your calves bigger if you inject from there, you are wrong. There is nothing called local growth on the injection site. Only a temporary growth caused by the volume of injection. Also, you have less juice in your blood compared to gluteus injections. You can look at the first chart in Hooker's deca profile:

Sometimes I used to inject to my calves but the reason is I did many shots and looking for new injection sites. Plus whetever place you inject sust it will hurt.

Calf injections are meant to be very sore. Avoid where possible.

demirsteel Bro I did not say I was looking for local growth my calves are already fvcking huge I just was looking for a place to rotate to.

Swifto You may be right..This sucks compared to delts or quads.. I may look at Lats next..

I read that post the other day that is what made me think of doing them next. the problem is I am not sure I can see them enough to shoot. I cannot see Over my shoulder so I guess I need to lift my arm and shoot from the front.

Now I use a 23g 1" pin maybe I could get away with a 25g?? Deca and Sust is so thick it is hard enough to get through the pins I have now.

I usually do calf injects after a hot shower, when the muscle is loose. massage for 5 min after the shot to try to displace the oil ( i was doing 2 cc's). there was usually some pain for a day or two but nothing that really stood out as abnormal pain. good stickin.
