It is only gonna get worse....
I just watched an interview with the head of the DEA and he was talking about the extensive campaign they are starting to stop Steroid sales over the Internet. He didn't name any sites but he did say they would be setting up task force to tackle the ease of purchase via Interent and shipments made into the US. This he said was in response to the athletes court confessions of illegal use and where the easiet places were for them to obtain the drugs.
well in this article they named our beloved site.....
we don't use steroids here. We are all natural just wanting info about othere that do it.
this is not going to be good...
You see, this is what some of us where telling you!

.... y can't they just leave us alone and focus on actual criminals??

Obviously the guy is a idiot if he's saying this.
"So the first item on the shopping list is the injectable Sustan
I'm told it "blows up" the upper body, which is appealing to young bodybuilders. I'm also told it can affect liver toxicity, especially when overused.
Next on my list is Deca Durabolin, a steroid popular with track athletes. It's an injectable and preferred by athletes because it is "clean," which means it leaves your body within a week."
ROFLLLLLLLLLLLLLll
this reporter is fired. He did not do his homework!Originally Posted by Smak

"He also points me to Clenbuterol, a drug often selected by first-time users because it builds bulk quickly. I've seen guys use it and they get real puffy, real fast," he says. "But let me tell you, if you misuse it, it will wreak havoc on your body. ... Of course, you can say that about any of these."
WTF![]()
This guy def. gets an F for doing his research, but at least he did relize that no one on this site condones the use of anabolics and its not somewhere you can just come and buy gear.
If this was in the newspaper...
Am i a celebrity now???
From 2nd page of article. Deca for track? Deca leaves body in week? EQ cheap? What the fvck is this guy talking about. He later claims clen is used to add bulk fast. WTF?!Next on my list is Deca Durabolin, a steroid popular with track athletes. It's an injectable and preferred by athletes because it is "clean," which means it leaves your body within a week.
Winstrol tablets, which are also a veterinary drug used for cats, will be third on my list. Like Deca, Winstrol gets in and out of your system quickly. It is also a brand name for the steroid stanozolol, which Rafael Palmeiro reportedly tested positive for.
Another veterinary drug, the injectable Equipoise, is popular because it is cheap and will give bodybuilders definition.
Hes smoking too much cock I think, its clouding his thoughts.Originally Posted by powerliftmike

somebody should seriously consider e-mailing that moron, and ask him to get his facts straight or at least ask him to put a disclaimer in there, notifying potential readers that he doesn't really know what the F**k he's talking about.
interesting read....good check to those out there..be safe...get refs!
What strikes me, is that these people ("investigative" reporters) are the ones that the general public actually listen to in this beloved country of ours.
Suppose he spent two weeks on this site alone (which I'm sure is being generous), read any of Hookers profiles (again, pure speculation. The "big words" probably fightened him away), and asked questions posing as a 17 year old wanting to try steroids. What would he have been told?
advising young posters to hold off until they are at least 21.
That sort of code of honor exists on the Anabolic Forum website. Those that identify themselves as teens are told by posters to wait until they are in their 20s before they use.
Yes, this is true. But it is slightly more than one paragraph in an entire article. The remainder is sensationalistic journalism, that does nothing more than advance his career.
At the very least, he gives us the names of three well known sources that should be avoided at all costs now.
Personally, I think he should be arrested for purchasing steroids. Then admitting to it publicly! After all, they are "illegal, dangerous substances"!
Somewhere Edward R. Murrow is spinning in his grave.
Where are the expose articles detailing how, intelligently used, steroids can actually improve your health? I'll tell you where they are. Sitting on a shelf, written by a now fired young reporter who had his dreams dashed for having the courage to tell a story that the "powers that be" do not want to be told.
Was this mentioned?
Congressional hearings convened to determine whether steroids should become the first hormone placed on Sched-ule III of the Controlled Substances Act, reserved for drugs with substantial abuse potential. Such legislation, if passed, would make possession of anabolic steroids without a prescription a federal offense punishable by up to a year in prison. Distributing steroids for use, already prohibited by the 1988 law, would be a felony punishable by up to five years in prison. What’s usually forgotten about these hearings, or perhaps simply ignored, is the zeal with which many regulatory agencies, research organizations, and professional groups objected to the proposed changes. The American Medical Association (AMA), the FDA, the National Institute on Drug Abuse, and even the Drug Enforcement Administration all opposed the reclassification. Particularly adamant was the AMA, whose spokespersons argued that steroid users did not exhibit the physical or psychological dependence necessary to justify a change in policy.
Nevertheless, Congress voted into law the 1990 Anabolic Steroids Control Act, which reclassified steroids as Schedule III controlled substances, placing them on legal par with barbiturates and narcotic painkillers such as Vicodin, just one step down from amphetamines, cocaine, and morphine. Now even first-time steroid users faced possible jail time.
Nope...
