Had my first shot today, quick question though. When I aspirate what is supposed to come out, I know if I see blood to start over but if not blood what should come out?

air bubbles
alright. And when i pulled out the needle there was blood on the outside of it....is this just normal from injecting.
Yes u went thru a vein -- this is normal.
hmm, i've never had blood on the actual needle itself after i pulled it out, but i have had blood inside the syringe after my shot, for the simple fact that when you push the rubber stopper really hard to squeeze every last drop of oil out, it creates a suction, when you let go of the plunger and can cause a couple drops of blood to suck back into the syringe.Originally Posted by Natural1
no worries though, if you aspirated and got little bubbles then you're all good.
whew...thanks bro
Man the pain from it was nothing it was the aspirating part that was the hardest, i can barely reach around there to do it.![]()
try holding the plunger with your thumb, pinky, and ring finger and aspirate with your index and bird fingers...Originally Posted by Natural1
Alright yeah sounds smarter than trying to twist my whole body around, next shot is Wed. ill be sure to try that out.Originally Posted by fitnessguy
Not trying to sound like a junkie, but get a round key chain and put on the plunger to give a ring to stick finger into, this helps alot.
Two more questions though.
1. Can I use the same cheek or should i change it up for every shot?
2.After pulling from the bottle is it absolutely necessary to change needles or can the same one be used?
You a junkie......never broOriginally Posted by Perrypup

1. I would only hit the same spot once a week. rotate injection sites.Originally Posted by Natural1
2. It feels so much better with a fresh needle. they are too cheap to use the same one. but to answer your question, no you don't have to change...but i would
Yeah I've heard it feels better with a new one. I changed mine for my first injection so I cannot comment on how it feels with an old one, but Ill take your word for it.
It hurts like a Mo Fo .. im the stupied ass that tried and lost. hehehehe
LoL Thanks for the info, and savin my ass, literally.Originally Posted by Perrypup

try the quad.. when your used to it.. its pretty much painless?
Try delts, thats what I tried after I attempted my quad, never again, I was in lots of pain. I usually did glutes and delts, gotta love em both
I was going to try the delts, but do you need a shorter needle? I am relatively lean on my shoulders, so the 1.5 looks like its way too long.Originally Posted by thejuiceisloose
I use 1in 25g on the delts...Originally Posted by Natural1
1.5 may be long, so dont poke it in all the way, leave anout a couple cm's of space. Just make sure you got into the muscle.Originally Posted by Natural1
