AS stored in hot places

some of my gear says to store in a cool dark place. what happens if it was stored in a hot place like an attic? would it do harm to me? how would it effect the gear?

IMO, warm won't hurt any, I figure it this way. When guys go down to Mex. and put up things, Those products most of the time aren't stored in cool places. They are keep in the shops with most of them not having air cond. And it can get pretty warm down south.
When they are shipped, they aren't keeped in a cool place.

But I wouldn't store in a attic, If you have ever been up in a attic on a hot sunny day, It can get DAMN HOT !!! well over 100deg. That to me seems like maybe to hot. I would worry about it there.

Not based on fact but wouldn't it help produce bacteria if you kept it in a hot place. If it is not human grade it might contain some bacteria to begin with and if you store it in a hot place it would just help the bacteria grow. JMO
