Nolva is a SERM why do people use it as an anti estrogen why not just use Proviron because when used with testosterone or another aromatizable compound, it prevents estrogen build-up because it binds to the aromatase enzyme very strongly, thereby preventing steroids from interacting with it and forming estrogen.

Perhaps may be....Because the user might not be able to get hold of Proviron, only Nolvadex.

Correct........ also Nolva does work in preventing gyno by taking up at the ER and keeping estrogen from doing so..... that's the other reason why it's used.

Proviron is an anti-aromatase, so obviously anti-estrogens would be futile and redundant so why not pay the extra buck and get this therefore u woruldnt need any Anti estrogens during cycle and not have to worry about GYNO.

An AI will not block 100% of aromatization so there's still a chance of gyno if you are one that is prone to that. This another reason why a SERM like nolva is used in conjunction with an AI.
